New Hampshire Squirrel Control
Here at Critter Control of New Hampshire, we take great pride in our humane techniques when facing squirrel problems inside your attic. We often employ one-way doors in an attempt to let the squirrels get out but not back in. This is referred to as "exclusion."
Gray squirrels can enter through a half-dollar sized hole, red squirrels require a quarter-sized hole, and flying squirrels are tiny enough to squeeze through a hole the size of an almond! After locating the entry points, we install prevention methods, like one-way valves, on the animals' entry points in order to seal the holes. The squirrels will get out through the one-way valves to search for food outside, and once they return, they cannot get back in, and since all other areas have been sealed, the squirrels are effectively kept out. This technique ensures permanent cosmetic repairs without the need to trap animals (and helps you avoid any trapping fees).
New Hampshire Critter Control is a full-service business that can repair any damage done by squirrels, restoring your home to as good as it looked pre-squirrel, if not better. Some of the home repair services we provide include:
- Full carpentry and attic insulation services
We usually don't need to trap squirrels, but occasionally when we do, a comprehensive trapping program is used. In the spring and summer time, this is particularly important because of the birthing season. We never want to separate a mother from her kits, which are often in hard-to-access parts of your attic. We may have to wait a few weeks for the babies to mature and evict the whole family when all are mobile.
